I was very pleased to have been re-elected as Member of Parliament for Walsall North and am grateful to those who voted for me. As always I shall represent all my constituents and work hard for the interest of ordinary people in the House of Commons.
Since first being elected as your Mp, I have held regular surgeries all year round at four different locations across the constituency. Details can be obtained from my constituency office by calling 01922 492084 or from my office in the Commons tel 020 7219 5003. No appointment is necessary.
It has always been my practice to respond promptly to letter, emails, calls and to pursue individual cases accordingly with officialdom.
Much is being made of the swingeing cuts proposed by the Tory/Lib Dem government. It is absolutely essential that the burden does not fall on those here and elsewhere least able to bear the brunt.
It would be great to hear from you on issues that you see as the most important and also if you may be prepared to join our Labour team fighting for values we both feel are important.
Again as your Member of Parliament, I will fight hard for the interests of all my constituents.
